Planet Payment and PT Bank Central Asia (BCA) have launched a service that allows consumers to make international payments in their own currency.
BCA will offer Planet Payment's Pay in Your Currency to the bank's merchant portfolio in Indonesia. At the point of sale, consumers are handed a receipt that shows the transaction amount in Indonesian Rupiah and their home currency, along with the exchange rate and other service details. The consumer then selects a currency.
