Sansiri PLC has launched a cobranded credit card with Bangkok-based Siam Commercial Bank, a spokesperson for the Thailand-based real-estate group tells CardLine Global. The company will market the Visa-branded "Sansiri platinum card" to residents who use the group's Touch property-management service, along with other consumers. Nearly 600 residents use Touch for residential services, the spokesperson says. "Cardholders will be able to redeem reward points for Touch services, including laundry, cleaning and gardening services," the spokesperson adds, noting Sansiri expects to have 50,000 cardholders for this service in the first year. "New applicants will get a 5% discount on downpayments for Sansiri housing units, if paid through the card." The issuer requires cardholders to have a monthly income of at least 35,000 baht (US$1,040 or 705 euros). The bank did not respond to a request for comment.
