Diebold Inc. has named Charles E. Ducey executive vice president of North American operations, replacing Dave Bucci, who is retiring. Ducey previously was senior vice president of global development and services.
First Data Corp. has appointed Kevin Barry general manager of its Star PIN-debit network. Barry previously was senior vice president and director of marketing at Republic First Bancorp. First Data also named Peter J. Korpady senior vice president, national sales and relationship management. Korpady previously was Visa Inc.’s global head of issuer processing. The transaction processor also appointed Chip Swearngan senior vice president of communications. Swearngan previously headed public relations and corporate communications for Metavante Corp.
Barclays PLC has promoted Valerie Sorrono-Keating to chief executive for the Barclaycard credit card business. She replaces Antony Jenkins, who was promoted to the new position of CEO of global banking, where he will continue to oversee credit cards. Sorrono-Keating previously was chief executive of Barclaycard International.
Ingenico recently named Deborah Dixson senior vice president of security solutions for the North American region. Dixson previously was chief information security officer at Best Buy Co. Inc.
American Express Co. has hired Ed Jay as senior vice president of American Express Business Insights. Jay previously was global head of product management and development for Thomson Reuters’ investment and advisory division.

Payvision, a Netherlands-based payment company, has hired Jim Mouzakiotis as director of sales for the U.S. Midwest region and Joe Rodriguez as director of sales for the U.S. East Coast region.
