GLASTONBURY, Conn.-Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union has selected Open Solutions for its "Complete Credit Union Solution," to handle the credit union's current and long-term information technology operations.

Montvale, N.J.-Tellagent debuted its "Freedom Centre" eBank, an advanced full-service kiosk designed to help underserved consumers cash checks and pay bills, at the recent New Jersey Credit Union League Annual Conference and Exhibit in Atlantic City. The kiosks have a number of features including ATM cash dispensing, check cashing, electronic bill pay and the ability to buy prepaid phone and wireless cards as well as gift cards.

OXFORD, Miss.-FNC Inc, a mortgage compliance firm, has entered into a strategic alliance with IntelliReal, which adds the automated valuation model provider to its list of services. IntelliReal's model includes multiple listing service (MLS) data, which the firm claims improves accuracy and makes the product more predictive. The firm's CEO Miles said his company's model will help FNC clients make smarter decisions.

CHANTILLY, Va.-Employees at Justice FCU here used to suffer from authentication angst - they had to remember about 20 different passwords, each 15 characters long, to log in to various credit union systems and applications, according to Rifat Ikram, VP-electronic delivery and support services at Justice.
