Women are making hardly any progress in landing top jobs in the global finance industry, despite a steady drumbeat of pledges to diversify, according to a new report.

The global bank’s head of digital channels and data analytics is giving multinational customers a view of all their bank accounts in all countries.

Robyn Luhning, the bank’s head of environmental and social risk management, takes the position at a time when financing for the fossil-fuel industry faces scrutiny. Other large banks have created similar roles in recent years.

David Miree will become global head of diversity, equity and inclusion for the New York megabank. He will succeed Brian Lamb, who will move into a new role in the firm’s commercial banking business.

Peter Johnson, who has led the company since 2007, will be succeeded by Chief Financial Officer Laura Clark.
