Washington Federal Savings Names Executives

Washington Federal Savings, Seattle, has named Larry Cierpiszewski executive vice president.

Mr. Cierpiszewski is a member of the executive committee, responsible for savings administration, human resources, public relations, and marketing.

He joined the bank in 1973 as assistant treasurer, and later became vice president and operations manager. In 1980, Mr. Cierpiszewski left to become senior vice president of branch and general administration at United Bank in Tacoma, Wash. He then became executive vice president and chief operating officer of Family Savings in Seattle.

In 1990, he rejoined Washington Federal as senior vice president and operations manager. he was named to the executive committee in 1993.
