Huntington National Bank has signed a letter of intent with RSD Inc. of Charleston to install automated teller machines in most of RSD's 7-Eleven convenience stores around the state.
After the planned 32 ATMs are installed, Huntington would have 122 in the state, making the subsidiary of $20 billion-asset Huntington Bancshares, Columbus, Ohio, the largest bank ATM provider in West Virginia.
Huntington and 7-Eleven will share equally in operating expenses and revenues from the in-store ATMs. The machines will be equipped with display screens that can advertise products and services from the bank and from 7- Eleven-and offer discount coupons.
The machines are made by NCR Corp. In addition to dispensing cash, they will sell postage stamps and produce account statements for Huntington customers.
