Union First in Virginia Offers iPad App

Union First Market Bank in Richmond, Va., has added an iPad app to its mobile offerings.

The app, which is powered by Intuit Financial Services, allows customers to access a variety of mobile banking functions from their iPad, the bank said Tuesday. Customers can view account balances and transaction history, transfer funds between eligible accounts, pay bills and locate ATMs and branches.

The $4 billion-asset bank, a unit of Union First Market Bankshares (UBSH), launched its mobile banking platform last year with iPhone and Android apps.
