Intermountain Community Bancorp (IMCB) of Sandpoint, Idaho, is getting a new chairman.

The $972 million-asset parent of Panhandle State Bank said Monday that Ford Elsaesser is expected to assume the post on April 24 following the annual meeting of shareholders.

Elsaesser, a partner with the firm of Elsaesser Jarzabeck Anderson Elliott & Macdonald who has served as a director of Intermountain since 1992, will succeed Jack Parker, who has been chairman since 1995.

Both Elsaesser and Parker will continue to serve as directors.
