Bank of America Revamps Interface for Credit Card Management Platform

Bank of America (BAC) is rolling out a new interface for its online site that enables companies to set up and manage credit card accounts.

The nation's second-biggest bank by assets said Monday the redesign of its Works platform eases navigation, streamlines work and adds search capabilities.

The system lets companies keep track of credit cards used by their employees for purchases, travel, entertainment and other needs.

"The changes will have an immediate impact on our clients' ability to effectively manage their card payments and overall working capital," Kevin Phalen, Bank of America's head of global card and comprehensive payables, said in a press release.

Bank of America said it is phasing in the new interface starting this month for existing clients, who will be able to log in to the system with their current credentials.
