SANTA MONICA, Calif. - (06/19/06) Zag, the parent of credit unionauto buying service Autoland, said last week it has purchasedAutomotive Invitational Services, an auto buying program thatserves more than six million members of 12 American AutomobileAssociation clubs in the northeast and midwest. Zag will providethose AAA members with a more comprehensive car buying service,which includes offline research, call center and broker services.Zag acquired Autoland, which serves more than 300 credit unions onthe west coast, last November.
