Total bills paid through SunCorp's online bill pay product have now surpassed $100 million.
Brandt Wilcox, a member of USU Community FCU in Logan, Utah, made the payment that pushed the total past the milestone and was rewarded by having SunCorp reimburse all the bills Wilcox had paid online during March.
"Three years ago, in our first month of providing online bill pay to member credit unions, we processed just $763 worth of payments," noted Eric Kenealy, SunCorp President/CEO. SunCorp, which stressed its client CUs retain all member data, said that 85 credit unions in eight states are now participating in the program, with several million dollars in online bills being paid each month.
