COLUMBUS, Ohio — Business lending CUSO Cooperative Business Services, LLC on Wednesday reported it has closed more than $225 million in Central Ohio business loans since opening its first regional office here in October 2006.
CBS said it focuses exclusively on small to mid-size companies, competitively lending money for both business and commercial real estate.
When the CUSO made its debut in Central Ohio in 2006, it hired key loan originator Leslie Biskner, CCIM. Now a senior vice president, Biskner said in a statement, "Central Ohio continues to be a robust business community. Credit unions have made their mark in the commercial lending world with exceptional rates and service throughout the heart of Ohio and all the markets CBS serves."
Cooperative Business Services was founded in 2003. It provides business lending services to 82 credit unions across 10 states with an aggregate asset size of more than $16 billion. CBS is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, with additional loan production offices in Toledo, Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio, as well as locations in Kentucky and West Virginia.
