WRG Teams With TraceSecurity

BATON ROUGE, La.-TraceSecurity and Wescom Resources announced joint partnership to provide external penetration testing to new WRG clients who deploy the MemberEdge Online Banking system. TraceSecurity's external penetration testing is an precautionary tool for credit unions' online banking security as well as another measure to protect members from identity theft. The tool simulates real malicious attacks to financial institutions' network to expose potential vulnerabilities.

OnPoint CCU To Use TotaleAtlas

LINDEN, N.J.-OnPoint Community Credit Union has chosen Integrated Media Management, a document management and automation technology provider, to continue to supply its document preparation solutions. OnPoint, an IMM customer for the last eight years, will be using TotaleAtlas to upgrade from its current solution.

With the installation of TotaleAtlas, the credit union's members will be able to sign documents using a digital signature pad and the file is automatically indexed and archived as a 128-Bit encrypted PDF. The new technology will eliminate the labor costs of manually scanning and indexing documents and reduce the need to print and ship documents between branches, the company said.

VSoft Chooses Epson Solution

LONG BEACH, Calif.-VSoft Corporation, a global information and technology provider of process improvement solutions, has interfaced the Epson TM-J9000 integrated check scanner and receipt printer with its Agile Branch teller solution. With the TM-J9000 and Agile Branch-Teller, checks are scanned at the point of presentment, which cuts check handling costs, improves document-handling workflow, and reduces float time, the company said.

The two solutions working together also enables tellers to print receipts and scan and proof deposits while the customer is in the branch, minimizing deposit errors and eliminating the resulting adjustments to customer accounts.

Digital FCU Goes With Guardian

LOS ALTOS, Calif.-Digital Federal Credit Union, the largest credit union in New England, has deployed Guardian Analytics on its team to prevent fraud.

The credit union will utilize FraudMAP to deliver detailed and accurate alerts to its internal fraud operations team in order to prevent online fraud attempts. The implementation will reduce the volume of alerts and false positives experienced with prior approaches, and will also expedite investigations, the company said.

Liberty Bay CU Picks fiVISION

INDIANAPOLIS-Liberty Bay Credit Union has signed with fiVISION, a CRM solutions provider, to use the firm's accountWORKS platform as its member enrollment solution. The $529- million credit union also plans to use the Enrollment Cross Sell module to offer additional products the applicants are qualified for but did not select during the application process. The new enrollment solution will provide a streamlined and seamless process of opening new accounts, fiVISION said, assists the credit union with collecting the correct information required to open a new account.
