The $1 billion-asset unit of Banc Ed Corp. has installed the ATM ImageManager application for deposit processing and balancing, Wausau said Thursday. The software is designed to let banks handle electronic deposits and to enhance remote capture offerings by making the back-office processing of images more efficient.
Dennis Hessel, the president of Bank of Edwardsville's technology unit, Bank Data Services, said in a press release that the software "has enabled us to achieve substantial savings in courier and labor costs," and that it "represents the next step in our remote capture strategy."
