BASKING RIDGE, N.J.--In a strong move to bolster its corporate calling card, American Telephone and Telegraph Co. announced a raft of new antifraud benefits.
The package includes a written guarantee that businesses will not pay for calls by people they do not know.
AT&T also lets companies set limits on the use of the cards by employees, and to monitor calls more closely.
AT&T appears to be responding to competition, said Robert B. McKinley of Ram Research Corp.
