California Bank and Trust Expands Online Services

California Bank and Trust in San Diego said Wednesday that customers are now able to open additional deposit accounts and apply for credit cards and certain consumer loans online through its DirectNET Consumer Online Banking.

Personal and consumer products available online for existing customers include regular, basic and interest checking, money market and basic saving deposit accounts and some Visa cards. Eligible consumer loans include home equity loans and credit lines and home refinance, auto and personal loans.

"These additional online features continue to improve and enhance the ways our customers are able to interact with the bank," Susan Brown, senior vice president and marketing group manager, said in a press release. "CB&T is dedicated to providing new online features that provide California Bank and Trust's clients with the tools to do their banking more easily and efficiently."

The $10.9 billion-asset California Bank is a unit of Zions Bancorp.
