CTS North America Debuts Card-Issuance Systems

CTS North America has released new systems for on-demand card issuance.

The three new devices are designed for in-branch, same-day card issuance, the Wixom, Mich.-based company said Monday. The new models, CPS120, CPS1800 and CPS2000, provide a range of options for card customization and are available for banks and credit unions in the U.S. and Canada.

"Credit and debit cards are the way we pay for things today — nothing is more central to the consumer's financial life," said Glen Fossella, chief operating officer of CTS North America, in the news release. "Because of its positive financial impact for financial institutions and the increased level of satisfaction and convenience to customers and members, instant issuance is a service that is seeing rapid adoption in North America."

CTS North America specializes in branch-automation technology and is a subsidiary of payments company CTS Electronics.
