The online brokerage E-Trade Financial Corp. has agreed to use compliance software from the San Jose vendor Agiliance Inc.

Agiliance said Tuesday that IT-GRC, its flagship product, is designed to help financial companies define and manage security policies and risk while complying with corporate policies and industry mandates.
Patrick J. Conte, Agiliance's chief executive, said in a press release that the software would help E-Trade "not only streamline costs, but better manage the IT complexity that comes with doing business over the Internet."
