The Brookfield, Wis., banking technology and outsourcing firm Fiserv Inc. has purchased WorkingRx Inc., a privately held Salt Lake City provider of back-office processing products and services for pharmacies to handle workers' compensation claims.

The Brookfield, Wis., announced the acquisition last week. The price was not disclosed. WorkingRx, which founded in 2002, is now part of Fiserv's workers' compensation unit. Fiserv said the acquisition would expand its claims processing capabilities.
