Baytree Bancorp Inc. of Lake Forest, Ill., has outsourced the hosting and maintenance of its Web site to Goldleaf Financial Solutions Inc. of Brentwood, Tenn., to increase financial product sales and improve online security and disaster-planning.
The parent company of the $236 million-asset Baytree National Bank and Trust also hired Goldleaf to redesign its Web site, the vendor said Tuesday.
Anne Adams, the bank's marketing director, said in an interview Thursday that before the revamped site went live a year and a half ago, the bank offered only general information online and did not provide customers access to their accounts or online bill payment.
The redesigned site offers those functions, and special offers on the home page have improved customer response to interest-paying products and health savings accounts, Ms. Adams said. "I can make it very easy to find products we're selling on the search engines by changing the icons on the home page."
Goldleaf also designed a site for the bank's board to use for bank business, with dual layers of security and passwords that change every month, she said. "Our board is all local, but many of them travel for business or pleasure, so they can be anywhere in the world" and still receive management reports and related information.
