Heartland Payment Systems (HPY) is launching three smartphone applications for college campus cards.
The Princeton, N.J.-based merchant processor said Monday its MyPay, MyAccount and OneCard Mobile Admin smartphone apps will run on the Google (GOOG) Android and Apple (AAPL) iOS platforms. The apps will work with Heartland's Campus OneCard.
The MyPay app lets users pay without their ID cards at campus bookstores, vending and laundry machines. The MyAccount app lets users see their balance information and allows them to purchase services. The OneCard Mobile Admin app lets administrators manage the features and functionality of their institutions' cards.
