Huron Community Financial Services in East Tawas, Mich., is getting ready to offer insurance products.
The parent of the $206 million-asset Huron Community Bank has hired Insuritas to help it build an insurance agency with plans to open within 90 days.
“We recognize that 100% of our customers buy auto, home and business insurance every year – and we are perfectly positioned to be their trusted agent,” Jeffrey Loomis, Huron Community’s president and CEO, said in a press release Thursday.
Huron Community has six branches in northeast Michigan.
