LOS ANGELES - City National Bank announced Wednesday that it has named Jeffrey Smith, the manager of its Westside commercial banking region, an executive vice president.
Mr. Smith joined the bank, a unit of $9.1 billion-asset City National Corp., in 1991. He will continue to oversee two private banking groups and a commercial banking group and serve on the bank's executive committee.
"Jeff has been and will continue to be a driving force in our business expansion efforts on the west side," George Benter, president of City National, said in a press statement.
City National, the largest independent bank headquartered in Southern California, offers banking, trust, and investment services.
