LONDON - TD Waterhouse Group, an affiliate of Toronto-Dominion Bank, has made stock trading and portfolio monitoring available on Wireless Application Protocol-enabled phones in the United Kingdom.
Investors can use the TD Waterhouse WAP site to buy and sell U.K. stocks over their mobile phones for $19.55 a trade. The Mobile Broker service offers market news, quotes on U.K. and U.S. stocks, cash balances, portfolio summary, order status, total holdings, trading limits, and share dealing during market hours for U.K. securities.
Customers can also use TD Waterhouse to trade stocks by telephone or over the Internet. In addition, the firm offers a free stock information service on digital interactive televisions and will offer stock investing through digital TVs available by the end of the quarter.
