NCR Corp. in Dayton, Ohio, said it had signed a global reseller agreement with the mobile banking software developer MShift Inc. of San Jose, Calif.
The automated teller machine company said Tuesday that it would offer the MShift Mobile Banking Solution as part of its own suite of online banking software.
The MShift application lets bank clients give their customers access to account data and online banking capabilities through their mobile phones.
"The integration of MShift's mobile banking technology within our Internet banking platform enables NCR to offer a highly customizable and fully mobile Internet banking solution," Greg Hanson, the general manager of NCR's e-commerce unit, said in a press release.
MShift's customers include the online banking technology provider Digital Insight Corp. in Calabasas, Calif., a unit of Intuit Inc., of Mountain View, Calif., which uses MShift's software interface to deliver mobile banking capabilities to its bank and credit union clients.
