The name change took effect Wednesday. The stock's ticker symbol on the Nasdaq Global Select Market has changed to ACIW, from TSAI.

The company has marketed its card software under the ACI Worldwide brand since 1993.

Since Philip G. Heasley, a veteran of U.S. Bancorp and Bank One Corp., took the helm in March 2005, the company has concentrated its marketing under the ACI brand. Its IntraNet Inc., which produces PaymentWare wire and ACH software, and Insession Technologies, which provides infrastructure software and services, have been given the ACI brand.

Last year the company moved its headquarters to New York from Omaha. Next year it will switch to calendar-year financial reporting. Its current fiscal year ends Sept. 30.
