Online Resources Deal with Kinecta

Kinecta Federal Credit Union of Manhattan Beach, Calif., has outsourced its bill payment work to Online Resources Corp. of Chantilly, Va.

Online Resources said Wednesday that the credit union shifted from an in-house application to its PayAnyone service in August. Kinecta also is using Online Resources' online account opening, automated clearing house payment processing, and electronic statement technology.

Kinecta uses core processing software from Symitar, a unit of Jack Henry & Associates Inc. One reason the credit union opted for Online Resources is that the vendor has worked with Symitar to make its technology compatible with the core application.

Shannon Doiron, Kinecta's director of e-commerce, said in an Online Resources press release that the Online Resources software "snapped in quite easily."
