Global Payments Inc. of Atlanta has agreed to provide transaction processing services to Postbank BH of Sarajevo for five years.

The processor said Thursday that its Global Payments Europe d.o.o. of Sarajevo will provide transaction processing, card personalization, authorization, PIN management, fraud monitoring, and other services to Postbank.
The Dutch financial company Poteza Adriatic Fund recently purchased a 48% stake in Postbank. Dzenamir Abaza, Postbank's chief executive, said in a Global Payments press release that his company wants to use some of that investment to "make the card business a vital part of our retail banking."
