Judy A. Stewart has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Rancho Vista National Bank, Vista, Calif.

The bank said her predecessor, Michael H. Dunahee, left to pursue other interests.

Salvatore Colucci continues as chairman of the board.

Ms. Stewart had been the bank's executive vice president and chief operating officer. She has been second in command of the bank since its founding in 1982.

Before joining Rancho Vista National Bank, Ms. Stewart was with Bank of America as a vice president.

Ms. Stewart was instrumental in developing a partnership between the bank and the Vista Community Clinic, many of whose patients cannot afford even baseline services. A bank program helps expectant mothers among them with the expenses of prenatal care and delivery.
