The Indian outsourcing provider Wipro Ltd. has agreed to offer its customers payment processing software from Bottomline Technologies Inc. of Portsmouth, N.H.
Bottomline said Wednesday that Wipro Technologies, the outsourcer's technology services division, will offer the vendor's WebSeries modular platform, which provides straight-through processing for several types of payments, as well as security controls and reporting.
Wipro plans to use the software to improve its corporate payments and global cash management product offerings, Bottomline said.
"The combination of our WebSeries software and payment expertise with the capabilities of one of the world's largest providers of IT services creates a compelling value proposition," Mike McGurl, Bottomline's vice president of business development, said in a press release.
