TxCore Inc., a payment-processing company, has changed its name to TxVia Inc. and has raised $8.5 million in additional funding, primarily from existing investors, the company announced June 18.

AMC Entertainment Inc., a theatrical exhibition company, is offering personalized gift cards that consumers can purchase in whole dollar amounts between $5 and $100. The also can carry a personal photo, message or image for an additional $4.50 personalization fee.

Transaction processor Global Payments Inc. is providing VIP LightSpeed cash-access products and services to Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk, Colo; Player's Club Casino in Ventura, Calif.; Running Aces Harness Park in Forrest Lake, Minn.; Hoosier Park Racing & Casino in Anderson, Ind.; 7th Street Casino in Kansas City, Kan.; Bodine's Casino in Carson City, Nev.; and Wind River Casino in Riverton, Wyo. It also will provide services in Ontario to Flamboro Downs in Hamilton and Georgian Downs in Innisfil.
