As Diebold Nixdorf continues its evolution from decades as a leading manufacturer of standalone ATMs to a maker of omnichannel-connected banking, it’s created a new service leveraging the Internet of Things.
The Canton, Ohio-based company has rolled out Diebold Nixdorf AllConnect Services, which uses data captured through IoT infrastructure to analyze the performance and output of ATMs, payment terminals and mobile devices, the company said in a Monday press release.
AllConnect Services is configured to work with a collection of integrated business solutions for different operations including managed mobility services, branch and retail store checkout and operations and ATM-as-a-service. These each use data gathered from the IoT to optimize equipment and distribution channels, according to the release.
“Diebold Nixdorf AllConnect Services leverages our broad knowledge of global markets, awareness of industry shifts and a consumer-centric view of what our clients need in order to accelerate their business transformation,” said Olaf Heyden, Diebold Nixdorf’s senior vice president of services, in the release.
