The settlement resolves all issues related to the intrusion, Heartland says.

“This settlement marks our final agreement with a card brand related to the intrusion,” Bob Carr, Heartland’s chairman and chief executive officer, said in a statement.

Heartland previously reached similar settlements with MasterCard Worldwide, Visa Inc. and American Express Co. for the breach, which it reported early last year (see story).
