India-based ICICI Bank says it has issued only about 8,000 Visa-branded "Xbox 360" credit cards since March 2007 in association with United States-based Microsoft. The card offers discounts and differing payment options to buy the Xbox video games. "The card is a new concept and will take some more time to grow," a bank spokesperson tells CardLine Global. The bank has about 5 million credit cardholders in India.
