American Express Co. has hired Linda Zukauckas to be an executive vice president and corporate comptroller.

Zukauckas will replace David Cornish, who has been serving in the role on an acting basis, on Nov. 28, the company said Friday. Zukauckas joins American Express from Ally Financial Inc., where she held several senior leadership roles. She most recently served as managing director of corporate strategy. Previously, she held senior audit roles at Deutsche Bank.
Cornish will resume his role as senior vice president, deputy comptroller and head of the global reporting team.
