Fiserv to Buy ACI Worldwide's Community Financial Business

Fiserv in Brookfield, Wis., has agreed to buy the community financial services business of ACI Worldwide for $200 million in cash.

Fiserv is buying assets that include digital banking and electronic payments software, including the Architect Banking product for online, mobile and tablet banking, according to a news release Wednesday.

ACI Worldwide is also selling other products, including SSB Internet Banking, WebFederal Internet Banking, Advantage Internet Banking, Advantage Consolidated Bank Bill Pay and ACI Defense Services.

Fiserv and ACI Worldwide, in Naples, Fla., expect the transaction to close this quarter, pending regulatory approval.
