Ohio Valley Financial, BankTrust Merge in Kentucky

Ohio Valley Financial Group in Henderson, Ky., has merged with BankTrust Financial in Henderson.

The combined bank was rebranded as Field & Main Bank as part of the merger. The $392 million-asset bank has five branches in Kentucky and Indiana. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"Bringing together unique and diverse talents of two strong community banking organizations that complement each other, creates an opportunity to make a huge difference in the communities we serve," said Scott Davis, Field & Main's chairman and chief executive. He had held the same posts at Ohio Valley. "We've created a distinctive name and brand identity … that captures the essence of our rural roots and the spirit of community gathering."

Dale Sights, formerly president and chief executive at BankTrust, is the new bank's president.

Field & Main closed two branches in Henderson.
