Corillian Unveils New Software
The online banking vendor Corillian Corp. said it is rounding out its corporate cash management line with a product for banks' small-business customers that are growing.
Corillian Corporate Banking was one of the products and partnerships announced this week during the AFP 25th Annual Conference in San Diego, sponsored by the Association for Financial Professionals in Bethesda, Md.
The new software lets a business user grant employees different levels of access; for example, one might be only able to view financial activity, while another can also initiate transactions.
Corillian Corporate Banking, like the Hillsboro, Ore., company's other cash management packages, runs with its Voyager Internet banking platform.
Chuck Drake, Corillian's vice president of marketing, said the new software lets banks continue to serve small companies as they grow.
Small businesses use corporate banking services, Mr. Drake said. "What happens is as they become more mature and larger ... they need a seamless experience to migrate" to a more powerful application.
US Dataworks Updates Product
US Dataworks Inc. introduced an updated version of its Clearingworks electronic payment processing software at the AFP conference.
The Houston company said World's Foremost Bank, a unit of Cabela's Inc. of Sydney, Neb., has signed up to use the new version.
US Dataworks said the product, with Express Batching and real-time Web enablement software, lets customers process check images and clearing house transactions.
Express Batching was designed to scan and transmit check images individually instead of in large batches. The Web feature allows customers to initiate ACH payments online.
Sybase Unit Enhances Program
Financial Fusion Inc. announced a new version of its corporate banking software at the AFP conference.
The Sybase Inc. unit said South Financial Group, a multibank holding company in Greenville, S.C., had already implemented the new version.
The software now lets a business customer use the automated clearing house network to transfer money to and from a primary bank account if the customer has accounts at other banks.
Financial Fusion said it also updated other aspects of the software, including the ability to itemize daily transactions for money transfers.
"Our customers are already reaping the rewards of this implementation," said Quintin Sykes, South Financial's director of information services.
