Tyfone Launches Fluide Mobile Banking Platform

Tyfone launched mobile banking software for banks and credit unions on Monday.

Fluide Mobile is targeted at medium and small financial institutions, more than 50% of which do not have any type of mobile banking platform, according to a 2013 biennial survey from the Independent Community Bankers of America.

The product offers banks and credit unions the ability to offer services such as remote check deposit, person-to-person payments, and mobile payments at the point of sale.

Currently, more than 70% of Tyfone's banking consumers are accessing banking solutions through their mobile devices, the Portland, Ore.-based secure identity and mobile banking tech provider says.

Fluide Mobile runs on Tyfone's u4ia secure mobile transaction platform, which has processed more than 30 million financial transactions.
