First Data, JotForm collaborate for payments via online forms

First Data Corp. and JotForm are working together on an integration enabling brick-and-mortar merchants to collect payments online more easily, along with detailed information on forms such as electronic signatures.

San Francisco-based JotForm’s online form-building tool will be integrated with First Data's Payeezy, an e-commerce payment platform, creating a streamlined approach for merchants to accept payments and donations online, JotForm said in a Tuesday press release.

Merchants using JotForm may now directly embed a payment form into their website or send the form to customers as a standalone link, with the ability to collect additional customer details including signatures and uploaded files, according to the release.

“Partnering with First Data gives our users a way to immediately collect fees, donations, orders, paid registrations and more,” said Aytekin Tank, JotForm’s founder and CEO.
