Jack Henry Associates Inc. processed more than 23 million remote deposit-capture transactions in July and August, a record for the Monett, Mo.-based core banking services company, says Bill Phillips, group president for ProfitStars Enterprise Payment Solutions, a unit of Jack Henry. In July, the company processed more than 11.4 million remote-deposit capture transactions and in August more than 11.7 million. The collective value of the transactions for both months exceeded $18 billion, Phillips tells CardLine sister publication ISO&Agent Weekly. Jack Henry says it set an internal daily remote-deposit capture processing recording on Aug. 3 when it processed approximately 875,000 transactions valued at more than $800 million. The previous single-day record was about 777,000 transactions set on July 6. Jack Henry processed its first remote-deposit capture transaction in 2004, Phillips says.
