Core processing software company COCC is teaming with Online Resources Corp. to deliver a digital banking platform for community banks and credit unions.
The platform will join COCC's core processing system with Online Resources' software and bill-pay services to synchronize electronic banking with other services, the companies said on Wednesday.
According to the companies, the platform will enable institutions to provide online banking directly from their own websites without the need to run multiple databases or processes. Institutions also will be able to easily display information about balances and accounts to customers regardless of whether they access the information online or via other means, the companies said.
COCC will host the system, which the companies say will cut down on customer calls while improving institutions' ability to ferret out fraud, market to customers and deliver services securely and cost-effectively.
